EGR solenoid valve

EGR solenoid valve removal

Place the vehicle on a platform.

Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

Remove :

  • The motor's lower protecting cover (if pertinent).
  • The exhaust flexible hose.

first mounting

Unclip :

  • The connector A.
  • The hoses B.

second mounting

Unclip :

  • The connector C.
  • The hoses D.

EGR solenoid valve removal

Drain :

  • The coolant circuit.

Remove :

  • The motor upper cover.
  • The air filter casing.

Put aside :

  • The sound-proofing.

Withdraw :

  • The connector of the EGR solenoid valve D.
  • The hose F.
  • The fastening screw G.

Put aside :

  • The wiring harness J.

EGR solenoid valve removal

Untighten :

  • The 2 fastening E screws.

Withdraw :

  • The 4 fastening H screws.
  • The escape gases recirculation (EGR) hose T.
  • The nut K.
  • The screw M.
  • The hose P.
  • The 2 fastening S screws.

Remove :

  • The EGR solenoid valve Z.

It is mandatory to replace all seals.

reassembly

Proceed reversing the order of the removal.

Strictly follow the process.

Fill in :

  • The coolant circuit.

Bleed :

  • The coolant circuit.

reassembly

Check :

Rotate the motor to make sure that there is no leak, and that the motor is working properly.

Put back :

  • The motor's lower protecting cover (if pertinent).
  • The motor upper cover.

EGR-intercooler removal

Remove :

  • The EGR solenoid valve.
