2 wheel alignment in proper order.

  • Check that no alignment or drive train defects are reported.
  • Abnormal wear and tear of the tires.
  • No slipping occuring in the vehicle's trajectory.
  • Steering wheel aligned for straight line driving.

3 place the vehicle in front of the calibration's aiming panel Ot.

  • Measure the vehicle's width.
  • Affix vertical strips 1 / 2, in order to draw reference points x1 x4 on the ground.
  • Do a projection of the center point x1 x4 on the ground with a plumb line Ot2.
  • Draw a line on the ground in the reference axis x1x4 in order to align the aiming panel Ot.
  • Draw a straight line x3 , perpendicular to the axis x1x2, located approximately c from the ground projection of the point x1.

.

Nota :

c distance between the point x1 and the ground position B of the aiming panel.

  • c distance 1316 mm.

.

  • Draw the point B at the cross between axis x1x2 and x3.
  • Draw on each side repectively the points C D at a given distance b.
  • b 550 mm distance.

Nota :

b floor distance between the aiming panels locations B C/D.

  • Place the aiming panel Ot at the point B.
  • Align the vehicle axis x1x2 in the axis of the aiming panel Ot.
  • Adjust / center height of the aiming panel a Ot.

Nota :

Distance a between the ground and the aiming panel center Ot.

  • a distance 1350 mm.

Behind the aiming panel, place a white or pale background.

reset

Method(s) -> ...cont.:

4 use a diagnosis equipment.

  • Step 1.

Bond setting :

Place the bond seal Jc close to the spacer tape Bs, as shown.

specific windscreen bonding

The area Jc where the glue bead is applied is delivered not being previously pasted, neither by an undercoat nor by a glass-primer.

The serigraphied area Cr where the glue bead is to be applied should be at first coated with primer.

specific windscreen bonding

According to the mounting :

The windscreen is serigraphied with a central line X upon the perimeter of the edge.

Apply the bond seal Jc upon the serigraphied points of the reference bonding line X.

Distance from the edge :

a width 8 mm.

b width 8 mm.

c width 11 mm.

d width 9 mm.

In order to intertwine the seal at the end of the perimeter, apply a double bonding.
